Can I find out about last minute appointment vacancies?
Do you ever have a spur of the moment time when getting a massage, facial
or pedicure would be just the right thing, but you haven’t made an
appointment? We are offering you the opportunity to participate in a program
called Just
in Time that will allow you to do just that, and take advantage of reduced
prices as well. Body & Spirit
will send you an e-mail notice of scheduling vacancies by 10:00 AM on Mondays,
Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you choose to call us to schedule an appointment
for one or more of those vacancies, you will receive 10% off of the regular price
for the service. We will also place 10% of the price of the service into a fund
which will go to a selected area charity each month. So you can receive a wonderful
service at a reduced price, and support a local charitable organization simultaneously!

wish to participate. You can end your participation at any point in the future
by notifying us that you wish to do so. We look forward to serving you through

Do you offer spa packages?
Yes, we have spa packages that you can choose from or you can create your
own package of services a la carte. You may also choose a gift certificate in
any dollar amount and let the recipient select their own special day. Our full
line of spa packages is located on the left hand menu under Spa
Services.
Do you have any advice for a first time spa guest?
It is not unusual to have questions or concerns about your first spa visit,
and we want to help you feel as comfortable as possible. Understand that we are
here to serve you, so answering a question or fulfilling a request is a pleasure.
Your privacy is important to us. We provide you with a changing area and an area
for your personal belongings. Locking lockers, showers and a variety of personal
items are available for your use. Please do not bring valuables into the treatment
rooms. Depending on the service and your needs, you may receive a robe and slippers
for your treatment. Please disrobe completely, including undergarments, as you
will be discreetly covered with a linen sheet throughout your treatments. The
therapist will give you adequate private time to change and to get comfortable
on the treatment table. If you change into a robe and slippers for your services,
please enjoy our main lounge upstairs until your therapist greets you.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. A credit card number is required at the
time of scheduling for our first time guests. Appointments must be cancelled
24 hours prior to service in order to avoid a $25 service charge.
May I order lunch with my visit to Body&Spirit?
Yes, you can order lunch with any of your spa services. If you wish, we can even
serve additional lunches so a friend may join you.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to ensure adequate
time for you to change and relax.
What forms of payment does Body&Spirit accept?
We gladly accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Westfield Shoppingtown Southgate
Gift Cards, cash, and travelers’ checks.
Do your rates include gratuity?
Our rates do not include gratuity but it is very much appreciated.
What kind of products do you use? Are they available for purchase at the Spa?
We use some of the finest skin, body, and nail products. Our principle
product lines include the specially formulated Body&Spirit Signature skin
and body products, MD Formulations, MD Forte, Jurlique, Karin Herzog skin care
products, and OPI nail products. Many products are available for sale in the
spa boutique. A variety of gift items are also displayed in our Spirit Boutique
and are available for sale.
Do you accept groups of guests?
Yes. We often serve wedding parties, business colleagues, friends and families
who wish to enjoy our services together. Call 941.921.1388 to discuss your individual
party’s needs. We are pleased to design your day to your individual wishes.
Do you have services for men?
Yes! Most of our services are equally beneficial for men and women. We have designed
several services with gentlemen in mind, including the Gentlemen’s Manicure
(no nail polish) and Gentlemen’s Facial. In fact, in 2003, 25% of spa services
nationwide were provided for men, a rapidly growing segment of informed spa users. |
